Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems and Data Center Administrator to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of our servers, GPU servers, and data storage systems. This role involves managing our infrastructure to maintain high availability and reliability, overseeing database management and versioning processes, and implementing high-performance network communication protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure management, expertise in handling large data volumes, a deep understanding of cloud solutions, and proficiency in database management systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain and optimize server and data storage systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Monitor resource utilization, plan for future capacity needs, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Update infrastructure components and select suitable hardware based on performance and scalability requirements.
  • Manage and analyze large volumes of data efficiently, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Implement and maintain high-performance network communication protocols and systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud storage solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) to meet business needs.
  • Provide technical support to resolve issues, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and minimize downtime.
  • Oversee database management, including design, implementation, performance tuning, and backup and recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure management, including server and data storage maintenance and optimization.
  • Expertise in handling large volumes of data and optimizing data storage and retrieval mechanisms.
  • Strong understanding of high-performance network communication principles and protocols.
  • Knowledge and experience with cloud solutions, including public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in database management systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with GPU servers and high-performance computing environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications in infrastructure management, cloud computing, or database administration.
  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Apache Spark.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
